  1. Alicea gets picked off. Two down.
  2. The second Louisville hit off Spencer is a ground ball back up the middle.
  3. A one-out single by Alicea gets things going for Louisville in the third.
  4. Forbes got out of the jam, but he's up to 55 pitches. I can't imagine he'll go beyond 80 pitches tonight.
  5. Forbes wins this battle with Gasparino, striking him out to end the inning. The Longhorns leave 'em loaded in the third.

  20. Another opposite-field hit on the Gasparino home run. The two-run bomb puts the Longhorns out in front, 2-0.

  22. Tommy Farmer's first-pitch groundout to third holds Belyeu at second base. One down in the top of the second.
  23. Belyeu went the other way, into the left-field corner for the extra-base hit.
