  2. Galvan strikes out and the inning is over with Belyeu stranded on first.
  3. Flores goes down on strikes. One on, two down for Galvan.
  4. Belyeu legs out an infield single on a slow roller to short. Texas has a runner on base with one out in the bottom of the first.
  5. Ethan Mendoza flies out right-center to end an eight-pitch at-bat.
  6. It was a 25-pitch first inning for Spencer.

  8. It's a 22-pitch inning and counting for Spencer after issuing his second walk.
  9. Make it back-to-back strikeouts. Spencer fans Dickinson and there's two away.
  10. Jared Jones is retired on strikes for the first out of the inning.
  11. The nine-pitch AB ends in a leadoff walk.
  12. Curiel is working a LONG at-bat against Spencer to open the game.

  14. It should be a great weekend of baseball at Disch-Falk Field. Tonight's game will start on SEC Network+ and revert to SEC Network when the Ole Miss-Kentucky softball game ends.
  15. Tony DeGrate posted the news on Facebook, and Vance Bedford posted it on Twitter. RIP to a Longhorn legend.
  16. Schloss has said he’s fine. We’ll see this weekend.
  17. If I’m Kirby, I’d make completing a defensive driving course a requirement to have access to a vehicle.
  18. If I’m a player at UGA, I’m telling my rep to find me an NIL deal for a defensive driving company. Ride-share NIL deal perhaps? In all seriousness, Kirby Smart has to do something. So much as a parking ticket is a bad look for UGA.
  19. Sure feels nice when recruiting at the most important position on the field doesn’t promote anxiety.
  20. A good clip from D1Baseball.com on the baseball team’s 17-2 start:
