Swain said Sean Miller motivated the team by showing them a horse race. The point, Swain said, was to just keep running the race. It doesn't matter how you start, just keep running the race and see where you stand when it's over.

We're waiting for the postgame press conference to start after Texas snapped a two-game losing streak with a blowout win over No. 21 Georgia at Moody Center on Saturday, 87-67. Texas quarterback Arch Manning, "underwent minor foot surgery this week as a preventative measure to address a previous injury," the Longhorns announced on Friday. Manning is one of six Texas players who underwent postseason surgery, and while "he will be limited during offseason workouts," school officials said that Manning "is expected back during spring football." The following Longhorns underwent postseason surgery for various ailments and "are expected back 100 percent healthy by the season," the school said: safety Xavier Filsaime (shoulder), offensive tackle Trevor Goosby (shoulder), wide receiver Emmett Mosley V (ankle), linebacker Ty’Anthony Smith (shoulder) and wide receiver Ryan Wingo (wrist).- Arch Manning among six Longhorns to undergo postseason surgery
