  1. FINAL: Texas 15, Texas State 4 The Longhorns run their record to 16-0, their best start since the program's last national championship season (2005).
  2. Texas State bats in the bottom of the inning as the home team. Also, with it being a road game for Texas, Texas State doesn't have to go by the SEC run rule (I don't know if the Sun Belt has one or not) unless both teams agree to it.
  3. Texas State is about to use its 10th pitcher of the game.
  4. And right after that, Pack doubles to left center. Impressive how he's able to hit the ball the other way as a freshman.
  5. A three-run jack for Becerra to left field makes it 15-4.
  6. Higgins retires the Bobcats in order in the bottom of the eighth.
  7. Gumbo is thrown out at home trying to make Livingston's base hit a two-run knock. It's an RBI double for Livingston. Texas heads to the bottom of the eighth with a 12-4 lead after a four-run top of the inning.
  8. Two-run base hit to left for Gumbo. Texas leads 11-4.
  9. Borba draws a walk and the bases are loaded for Gumbo.
  10. Former Longhorn Cameron O'Banan is on the mound to face Borba with RISP and two outs.
  11. Becerra strikes out looking and Texas State makes a pitching change.
  12. RBI double off the wall in left-center by A-Rod. It's RISP with no outs for Becerra with nobody out.
  13. Tinney led off the eighth with a walk. He just went from first to third on a ball hit through the right side by Robbins. Runners on the corners with no outs for Rodriguez.
  14. Higgins strikes out Jaquae Stewart to get out of the seventh.
  15. Grubbs is done after surrendering a two-out RBI double. Cal Higgins is on the mound with two outs and a runner on second in the bottom of the seventh.
