  1. Kadyn Leon is the new pitcher for OU. Tinney greets him by smoking a single to left to lead off the eighth.
  2. Thankfully, Crossland gets Brock to fly out to right to end the threat.
  3. Johnson steals second base. And now he's on third after Crossland's attempted pickoff throw goes over Mendoza's head and into center field.
  4. Johnson's two-out single keeps the inning alive for OU. None of the Sooners' 12 hits today have been for extra bases.
  5. This is a complete guess on my part, but Larson never looked at Nolan Cain at third base. So, I'll assume he made the read and thought he could make it.
  6. That's not the first time Larson has had issues running the bases. If he went on his own, he's got to know that it's better to keep yourself in scoring position with Tinney coming up.
  7. It felt like that could've been a big two-out rally. Instead, the Longhorns score one run on two hits and leave a runner on base in the bottom of the seventh.
  8. Doza slaps one up the middle, allowing Pack to score from second. But Larson is thrown out trying to advance to third, ending the inning.
  9. Larson walks at the end of a 10-pitch at-bat. Tremendous job of competing to keep the inning going.
  10. Larson doing a helluva job staying alive with two strikes.
  11. Gumbo strikes out. Two down with Ashton Larson coming up to hit for Monsour.
  12. Texas has a runner in scoring position after Pack steals second.
  13. Pack's leadoff single to left is the first hit for anyone hitting in the 5-9 part of the order today.
  14. Crossland works around two OU singles to strike out the side in the seventh. Stretch time with Texas looking to eat into a two-run deficit.
  15. Ivan Melendez’s 2022 will be hard to beat for a long, long time.
  16. Not a terrible decision to let Volantis deal to a lefty.
