That's going to be tough to overturn from the angle they're showing.

A groundout to short gets Ruger out of the inning. One run on two hits with two left on for South Carolina in the third.

Ruger is closing in on 60 pitches before the end of the third.

He didn't. A blooper over Mendoza's outstretched arm is an RBI single for the Gamecocks.

Riojas is trying to get out of the inning after allowing a one-out double and issuing a walk with two outs.

Becerra grounds out to first to end the inning. Texas scores a run on three hits and leaves two on base in the third.

That seven-pitch first inning will be big for Ruger if he can get back on track in the third.

That's three consecutive hard-hit balls by the Longhorns.

I know the SEC likes the Thursday games for TV, but the low attendance takes away from the vibe. And, yes, South Carolina being down doesn't help.

Pack squared that up and drove it to right field.

A two-out solo bomb by Robbins gets the Longhorns on the board in the top of the third. To the power alley in left-center and to the parking lot. A 422-foot blast for his 11th home run of the season.

I guess, at least Texas has the top of the order up in the top of the third.

Well, I stepped away for a few minutes and all hell broke loose. Four extra-base hits allowed by Ruger Riojas in a five-run, five-hit second for the Gamecocks.
