Hopefully, the Longhorns are over last night's 9-1 loss to the Gamecocks. SEC Network Plus has the second game of the series at 6 p.m. as Texas looks to avoid a road series loss.

Sark has hinted at this, but I think there was a hangover-type feeling after the Ohio State loss in the Cotton Bowl that a lot of stuff got overlooked.

At least they recognized the mistake and went the other direction (into the portal) in '26.

I've seen so much underwhelming offensive line play from Texas in the post-Blalock/Sendlein/Studdard era that it takes a LOT to move the needle for me on negative O-line play. That said, I had to remind myself to exhale a few times during the Florida game after some of the shots Arch took.

Gotta get the next two. Can't take a series loss and feel good going into College Station next weekend.
