Agreed! With the schedule that we have and pretty much each SEC at the top has, it will be very tough to match the W-L records of the top Big10 teams and definitely minor conferences like Big12. We’ve seen W-L is the trump card. It’s not in our favor. Playoffs or bust is my want this year. We can take care of business one on one with the wannabes once we hit the playoffs.

A prayer that you will find peace quickly with this. Even with a congenial divorce, I can still find regrets and frustration with leaving behind so many years. As mentioned above, get a lawyer ASAP. Make him/her your confidant. They’ve been through most scenarios and can give you a good idea of what to expect and what to watch out for. You just mentioned that you expressed your expectations. Realize that anything you talk about can reset the “negotiations”. I was able to deal with my ex because we agreed that it was 50/50 for us. I hope not because each summer is filled with pie in the sky and each fall shows otherwise. Bobby is a true gem and I value his experience as he trudged UT the same years I did, but sources misdirect, coaches have to dodge the direct, and practices are just that. The truth is often a fleeting moment.

I’m conflicted about it. Good for her if someone is going to dish out that money. Im not sure it’s good for softball but I’m not a big fan of the sport. How can one person take an average to above average team to a national championship in a team sport? I guess its just the nature of this game where pitchers aren’t really limited and the arm can slow bats that much. I don’t watch much softball but I like to watch Texas sports in general. When I first heard that Canada has pitched every single pitch in the WCWS for Tech, it just dumbfounded me- even more so when I see the team stats that are behind her.

Never would have imagined this season a year ago. Hope the season lasts a few weeks longer!
