I feel the exact same. Coaching in college is absolutely more challenging than NFL (no structure, nonstop, no rules, etc). Don’t blame any college coaches for heading to the league if given the opportunity.

Not to be a Karen, but I do feel for the women who were involved in this. There was clearly a power dynamic at play, and it must be traumatizing to have to watch something you probably feel shame about unfold so publicly. I hope they are taken care of by the university. What a rotten program it must be at UM.

It’s something I’ve thought about…the ND AD is doing a whole lot of talking, which is getting all of the coverage. Is this the real story and he wants to keep the focus on him while they figure it out with Freeman bts? My tin foil hat is on, and I’m eager to see how it all plays out.

Marcus Freeman is the current betting favorite to be the New York Giants next headcoach (-250 as of yesterday). More reports of teams reaching out / interested starting to circulate (from more legitimate sources than a guy wearing a Just Fine hat taking the trash out I might add 😅). I think the Titans/Giants jobs would be a downgrade from Notre Dame (both poorly run orgs the last decade). But where it gets interesting is Baltimore and Pittsburgh could both be in the market for new coaches… Because Freeman isn’t an NFL coach, these teams can talk to him and not publicly report it. Freeman might be all in on ND, but this is something I have bookmarked… just a little fyi (Finley, come on home!)

I feel like Niblett has been a team player and maximized every opportunity he got. Every play in football takes all 11 guys. I hope he stays, like Sark said he is a “culture” guy. But I understand that he likely has a strong market NIL wise OR could declare. So happy for the moments he gave us this year!

He bailed us out a lot this year, but yes it is a tough conversation I’m sure. We will see. He has been very transparent with his mindset on potentially leaving last year, and staying ended up being the correct call, so maybe he makes that decision again. Either way he is a Longhorn Legend for life and will always have a fan in me! 🤘

I mean he might just want more playing time and a fresh start. Getting an agent doesnt necessarily mean he is gone, but I wouldnt be surprised. He has had a lot of injuries. It could be a mutual decision between him and Texas if it happens. but your guess is as good as mine. Im just reading the tea leaves.

A bad agent for sure is a leach. A better way for me to phrase it would have been “all players should have someone in their corner advising them”. It’s become very complicated with NIL.
