Steve Sarkisian talks Texas vs. Ohio State on SEC Football Weekly Media Teleconference
Without Emmett Mosley I feel light at receiver (feels like he isn’t playing). Wingo, Moore, Livingstone, Endries, Baxter, Wisner might be the only pass catchers / targets this game. Maybe Dylan McCutcheon sees game time. Only 5 players caught a pass at Michigan last year. Had 9 against Ohio State last year.

Urban Meyer and Joel Klatt talk Texas at Ohio State
I used to really like Klatt a lot. He’s a bit of a Big 10 homer now. The other day with Cowherd he asked Colin if this is a bigger game for the SEC or B1G and the whole convo delved into talking about how great the B1G is with the best player, best team, best coach, last two national champions, etc. To the root of his question, I wouldn’t pound my chest for the SEC if we win, I’d be happy to say that Texas has gone into Tuscaloosa, Ann Arbor, and Columbus in consecutive years. The SEC didn’t do that. Klatt’s Fox affiliation has watered him down for me. But I will watch this lol

Goosby Practice Report (Tuesday 3:15 p.m.)
- Texas is the 4th Most Talented Roster Heading into the 2025 College Football Season
The drop from 4 to 5 seems to be where tier 1 ends with the 40 point gap. Gotta stay healthy and play clean this year and we’ll have a great chance- Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
- Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
I have been saying it sounds like Day sees how he can win this game and it’s where Texas had issues. That’s it, those were his words.- Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
Back to the original point, based on Day's answer, it sounded like he expected or planned to turn momentum on the Horns in the 3rd based on halftime adjustments, and that's where we consistently saw the most issues across a full game. Agreed, every single play is going to matter in this one, as it did in the Cotton Bowl.- Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
I mean… minus the blown 75 yard play with 20 seconds to go, it was going to be 7-7 at half in the Cotton Bowl.- Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
That’s what I heard as well. The halftime adjustment answer tells me that the 3rd quarter is going to be crucial for us. We need our 3rd quarter woes completely solved.- Happy Hour on Friday
4 in my group. Thanks Bobby!- 4 Days Until Kickoff — Who’s Your Favorite No. 4?
Roy Williams. Perfect Limas Sweed picture for the countdown- Sergio Kindle
Hoping for the best! Great advice and support here- Steve Sarkisian Monday Press Conference (August 25)
Did y'all hear Arch speak, too?- Steve Sarkisian Monday Press Conference (August 25)
The way he answered the rest of the question about Mosley progressing as the season goes on leads me to believe we won’t see him this wknd. But we’ll see. Thanks for asking CJ- Matt Patricia defense
Woof he had bad years in Detroit and took over after Jim Caldwell had decent teams- Matt Patricia defense
The pencil and laminated play sheet is hilarious. Never picked up on that 😂 Sark, Flood, Milwee figured out Wink last year. I believe they can do it again- 5 Days Until Kickoff — Who’s Your Favorite No. 5?
We would have been unbelievable. Without the fumbles, could have beaten Washington in the semi-final and could have ground it out against Michigan. Likely beat OU earlier in the year too by just handing it off and not suffering the two early, weird interceptions. Going Bijan here with a nice nod to James Brown for the Big 12 title over Nebraska!- Love that Texas already has premier non-conference game annually
If we do I wouldn’t mind Clemson / Miami / Florida State (when they figure their stuff out) from the ACC. Only scheduling the top programs OOC- Love that Texas already has premier non-conference game annually
These would be awesome games to travel for, on par with the Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame on the schedule. Over the past decade, we've been spoiled with trips to the LA Coliseum, California Memorial Stadium, the Big House, and now the Shoe.- SEC 9 game schedule
That’s pretty weak too. Michigan’s non-conference schedule has improved. Texas, @ OU, OU, @ Texas, then nothing of quality until Notre Dame in ‘33 & ‘34 so I figure they’ll schedule another Home / Away with a SEC Program. Bama and Georgia have quality non-conference schedules lined up. It’ll be interesting to see which programs schedule Big 10, Big 12, or ACC programs. Notre Dame only has so many openings.- Love that Texas already has premier non-conference game annually
Not a fan of that ASU home and away either. I like what Bobby said on Friday about UCLA, Virginia, or North Carolina being options. Go where you’re planning to recruit.- Potential 2026 Schedule..
I’d have to imagine that would be a Top 3 SOS- SEC 9 game schedule
Color me not shocked that Ole Miss has zero quality non-con games scheduled - Texas is the 4th Most Talented Roster Heading into the 2025 College Football Season
