Just like Tech legislators want to redistribute PUF money benefitting Tech to the detriment of Texas, he wants to redistribute SEC/Big conference TV money, benefitting Tech at the expense of those conferences. He knows with his personal NIL spending, if he can level the conference money field he’ll finally have the advantage over the SEC and Big schools. The rest is just his rationalization. There is a reason he doesn’t explain his actual position in his ads.

I’m just going to assume this was in response to someone tampering. (Someone whose truck stops funded a new stadium, perhaps?!) Hard to say it isn’t money well spent. A&M only wishes they could buy talent this effectively!

Whichever team we play…the crowd will be at least 80/20 against us. Tech fans travel well for events like this. And Tech would have the benefit of those with no vested interest that pull for the underdog, or are just there to see the biggest star. And some OU locals will still attend. But that’s no different than it has ever been in OKC. Just have to keep pitching and hitting well and hope our defense shows up.
