I don’t agree with you, but I especially don’t agree that he likes the drama of his WR1 flirting with another school and being coy about his final decision.

@Jeff Howe are you surprised we haven’t signed any pitchers yet?- A few Thursday AM recruiting notes
Gerry are you concerned at all with the tape for Rhoa? T Hills was not impressed with him at all, and generally T Hills really likes the prospects.- OTF nugget on Greedy James | Wednesday 11 a.m.

We could get Monshun Sales easy if we did, I’m just saying- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
Very good interaction and respectful disagreement. Thank you for that as well!- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
You know, you can express concern with a direction without it being an overreaction, right? Not everything is good, nor does everything happen because Texas wants it to.- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
I get what you’re saying. I know a couple people who are decently close to baseball program people and I’m not kidding you about the financial commitment baseball gets. It’s not as much as you’d think. Combine that with losing the key recruiting guy who built those A&M teams for Schloss, and yeah, I think we may be in for some trouble. I’m not saying we’re going to lose everything, but I am saying that we may lose recruitments we should win (see Bino + Clemson catcher). There was a reason things “didn’t work out” with Bino.- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
Because the guy did all of the recruiting. That’s why it’s a big deal. You’re basically bringing someone new into the fold who doesn’t have the recruiting connections Cain did. You’re now starting from scratch in the middle of portal season. Now you also have to defend from Cain poaching from us. It’s a big deal. As for funding, it’s no secret that there are other schools with bigger financial commitments to baseball. A&M commits more from an NIL + Rev share base, same with Miss State. We’re top quarter of SEC, but not first. Not saying you need to be at the top (see OU), but we do not have the biggest baseball war chest.- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
I don’t have a problem with that at all, tbh.- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
Nolan Cain can take anyone he wants EXCEPT Ashton Larson. PLEASE DON’T TAKE ASHTON LARSON.- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
I fear it’s time to defund the Disch. It was a good run, let’s pack it up. Give the money to Sark to go buy the best money can buy!- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
Football and basketball getting an additional $3 million each would mean we’d get another difference maker or 2 in each, I.e., natties. Sorry I just want greatness and don’t settle for mediocrity like some!- Nolan Cain Leaves Texas, Returns to Texas A&M
I, for one, would be all for defunding baseball and giving to to Sark and Sean. - Baseball portal is open
