I know people love Texas QB controversies (especially opposing fanbases) but IMO this is way less complicated than people think.
Ewers is our clear cut QB1 this year. If he slightly stumbles, he is not going to his job (unless he's somehow costing us games). Arch will get much more PT as the backup (assuming we can start blowing out lesser competition). Quinn, for all his "faults", is the best option this year. The O-Line will continue to improve and do a better job at protection. He finds the open guys, and a 3rd year in this offense should really pay off.
The timing is perfect. QE heads to the NFL and Arch starts in 2025 in our 2nd year in the SEC as a RS sophomore. Peyton played 4 years at Tennessee. Eli was at Ole Miss for 5 years.
IMO there is a lot less drama here than anticipated.
