Unfortunately this whole “Save” act is ALL political. And anytime a politician says they are going to fix something. It turns into bat guano very quickly. The Yankees CEO and Cody just happen to be big donors and buddies of guess who. Enough said. Their interests are not good for the universities involved for athletics or academics. Run like the wind from this bunch.

I know it is hindsight but I really wanted Bond back for at least one more year as a deep threat. And with the late season injury I thought surely he have had a huge incentive to return. Just a huge missed call from somebody giving him advice in my opinion.

A great student athlete who led the comeback of the Longhorns football program. Without him and Sark, we would not have what we have now. Thank you Quinn and much success ahead for you in the NFL and your future career. Hook’em forever!

To my knowledge, still a walk-on. We had a walk-on QB or two and a walk-on RB enter the portal in the past two years. So I guess any player can toss his hat into the portal black hole.

Hills, Mitchell, and January left at DT. I can not remember ever being that low on returning DT’s. Hopefully we have good NIL money for about 4 transfers. Those 3 freshmen are great but not enough proven talent yet.

I am always blown away by his play by play calling skill, and his vast memory and knowledge of UT sports and high school sports in general. Any kid who plays for Texas has to be proud of the way he knows everything about them and where they came from and educates his audience so well. Definitely the GOAT.
