Yeah the “robbing with calls” was sad. They actually had the benefit of a lot of questionable calls all night. I.e, Golden’s return and a couple of holds that weren’t called when they were backed up in our end zone on 2nd and 3rd down on their last scoring drive.

I agree it was embarrassing and bush league, but let’s not martyr ourselves into futility just because some students and fans acted like morons. I was surprised they didn’t penalize us for that. That’s what I thought we deserved personally.

It’ll be interesting to see how we handle Pavia running their offense. I think the defense can hold them down and the offense need to finish them quickly and ruthlessly

Get focused to get back out and play Texas football on both sides of the ball and special teams!! Excited to see how well we respond to adversity! I think everyone at OTF had Texas losing this game at the beginning of the season. Have a big game in the icy whites in Nashville and move on. Just like we have in the past if we lost to OU. It’s just one game, like Sark said every thing is still in front of us.

Nope, Quinn had a rough game but still threw for 1 td and ran for 1 td. We don’t quit on guys for a rough game. Arch is great and will be awesome once it’s his time, but it’s Quinn’s team. Quinn will be fine, it was awesome for him to get that td run and get popped hard and bounce right up to give him confidence that he’s back healthy. We’re blessed to have such a deep QB room. I expect to see big game Quinn Saturday! Hook’em baby 🐂🤘🐂

Exactly! I like our defense but still don’t trust they’re going to be this good through the SEC schedule. Absolutely agree we need to have a great showing against Georgia and really dominate Vandy too. Pavia and Vandy, as outrageous as this might sound, might be the most difficult offense to stop we have left besides Georgia (Arkansas could be tough too)! What weird twilight zone are we in sheesh!

I hear you! If Texas plays an A game today we should blast Oklahoma worse than we did Michigan. Especially with all the injuries the criminals have on offense. Like Rod B says we owe them an “Old Testament style butt whippin’” and would love to see that happen today at the cotton bowl. OU is dangerous like a wounded animal, but remember we just need to get by them we don’t need to try and get down there and mess with them. Let’s beat them playing our game, and leave their wounded ass for the next team to they play to get bit by.

I’ve had this same situation last year with a first birthday party staying at 10 am for Texas OU and then again with brunch with Santa for big 12 championship. Go dark, it’ll be easier to stay dark since you’re in NY and not a lot of TX fans there versus here in central Texas. Record the game and watch from the beginning. If things are looking good ask your wife to check and see if it’s ok to turn the lights on. Pro tip, don’t plug your phone in when you get home. Even if it’s off it will turn on and you’ll get all your notifications and ruin the black out. Enjoy apple picking and be present for your wife and family. Will definitely go a lot further than trying to check the game in winning brownie points. Just one dad’s option though.
