24 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was The Best No. 24?
I’m partial to the players from my first impressionable years as a kid when it comes to this number: Clayborn, Koy, and Jam! But, this number is well represented by some good players!

26 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was Your Favorite No. 26?
Love the quote by DKR. I had not read that quote before, so thanks for sharing!

26 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was Your Favorite No. 26?
A couple of good choices, but for me I’ll go with Jones. I remember watching him as a teen! Also, as mentioned, All-SWC, All-American and Olympic gold medalist, that puts him up there!

Brooks Austin: Texas Failed Arch lasts. Rips Flood & OL.
Good point. I don’t follow him enough to say or know, but interesting that he is discussing this now. Not sure why.

Brooks Austin: Texas Failed Arch lasts. Rips Flood & OL.
I agree. “Move on. Look forward.” I think most, if not all, has been discussed, cussed, and debated already by this board and the Mods in one form or the other.

Save College Sports Act
That’s the $64,000 question! That is what is needed, but I realize it is easier said than done! One can hope!

Save College Sports Act
I understand why you ask this as history and past actions show its ineptness, but in theory it should be the governing body…NCAA. It’s the universities’ association, and they should govern themselves.

Save College Sports Act
Totally agree with you! Not a federal issue, nor a federal problem. I hope it doesn’t pass.

50 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was The Best No. 50?
Totally agree that these two are tied. There were some strong offensive lines during the careers of these two longhorns! Woodard is just a notch below for me, but that’s because the other two played during my young formative years as a longhorn fan!

60 Days Until Kickoff: Who’s Your Favorite No. 60? (Absolutely LOADED number)
I knew this number would have a good list of some great players, but, imho, I totally agree that Mr. Nobis “stands alone at the top”

62 Days Until Kickoff: Who’s Your Favorite No. 62?
You beat me to it and I totally agree! I was going to say there was a consensus all American that played for the 69 national champions that wore #62 and he was pretty doggone good: Bob McKay!

Bold Words from Bryce Underwood
That, good sir, is well-played! And, extremely funny! 🤣

70 Days Until Kickoff: Who’s Your Favorite No. 70?
Bob Simmons was a pretty good #70! A 3x first team All-SWC and a two time All-American; drafted in 1976 draft and played seven or eight years in the NFL.

Lubbock Judge Grants Injunction for Brendan Sorsby
Sure seems like it! Seems to be a microcosm of our society where most people have a victim’s mentality; no holding people accountable for consequences of their actions. If an addict wants to truly change they must remove themselves from the environment that caused the addiction. It’s as if an addiction counselor tells the alcoholic it’s okay to continue working as a bartender! Guess I’m a little surprised, but not shocked by the decision, which is unfortunate. Tech’s continued support of him through rehab, etc. is just a pretense to try and cover the stench emanating from the campus!
