  1. So CJ are we thinking he is out of the conversation at this point?
  2. Glad to have you cheering for the Burnt Orange. I admit it has been hard to do before Sark arrived. Been a long dry spell of the winning tradition. I am some what of a fair weathered fan when it comes to Cowboys ( whole different conversation) but cheered for the horns through the good and bad.
  3. I live in Arkansas as well but I am a transplant. Born in Texas and lived there 50 years.
  4. Sure is intriguing for sure. One would think it’s Rod. If it is not Rod that would really be confounding. If it’s a NFL guy you only have four teams left playing and I’m not sure the coach is on any of those remaining NFL teams. No college teams obviously playing. So logically it seems to be Rod, but if not I wouldn’t have a clue.
  5. I agree as well. Quinn I believe will make bigger strides this year with his decision to return. Quinn is a really good QB, but did have room to improve in some phases of his game. I am excited for his final step to be taken this year in college. He will have plenty of targets and should have a tremendous year. Hook’em
  6. Maybe Tiaoalii will make a decision before to long. Excited as to hear Muhammad’s decision as well.
  7. Yes sir. I am retired and a huge sports fan. But nothing to the level of a Longhorn fan. It’s the off season, but is it really. Forums like this let us discuss, theorize, armchair coach, and swap tales about what should be done. So I don't believe it’s really off season anymore. Allows us to transition those winter months into mid April when it starts to pick back up a bit and then through summer. I believe this will be great for the diehard and casual Longhorn fans.
  8. Young man has some length and seems to be very versatile.
  9. I believe as this train keeps rolling the portal will be just a supplemental use.
  10. I agree with you it is something to consider no doubt. I’m sure there have been conversations and players understand. I am Putting my trust in Sark and the rest of the staff.
  11. What kind of timeline is Tiaoalii on? Is he looking to make a quick decision if he is offered?
  12. It is a balancing act sacrificing portal adds vs developmental snaps for younger players. However, I think you take a bigger step back trying to play to many young men that aren’t ready. Bringing in the few portal players pushes competition and is also a great source of knowledge for the less experienced players. The young players that are on the verge of making that step I think will still get valuable snaps. Just my opinion.
  13. This would certainly be a great edition, luxury more less. See how it shakes out. Hook,em
  14. You’re probably correct. That was his freshman stats.
  15. Tiaoalii, 2022 stats say 6’4. 275.
  16. Hey CJ this is Kurt from the Ozarks. Thanks for a place to discuss everything Longhorns.
  17. Thank you Bobby for having an awesome forum to come to for Longhorn conversation. I would also like to thank Blake and CJ. Hooke,em
