Houston. Grew up zoned to Memorial High School. Attended private school. Now live zoned to Spring Woods High School. Kids attend my alma mater.

Those guys have NFL talent and produce. Johntay has marginal talent and no production.

I don't think he has NFL physical talent, and he's sure as hell not maximizing what he does have.

My son - corner OF and LHH - is excited to watch Max this year.

The NFL isn't in the picture anymore for this kid. He needs to get right and live a respectable life.

I don't want to act like I don't see good things. They are just too few and far between. Some of the issues you mentioned above are reasons I don't like Terry having the HC. He could change things. He could teach differently. He could implement different game plans, rotations, etc. Pryor needs more minutes.

This is about where I am. I lean pessimistic, but I'm rooting for the best.

Terry's offense sucks - it doesn't put players in spots to do what they do best enough. His preferred tempo sucks - too slow. I haven't looked at KenPom today, but we were in the 200s last I checked. His defense doesn't suck, but it's not great either. Terry is running a team in the bottom half (bottom third?) of its conference by any measure. I am a donor and I like him, but I do not like that he's the head coach. I don't see much reason for optimism.

6'7"?? I think he's 6'5". Total beast though. Excited to see what his brother will become.

If this team can bottle how it played in the 2nd half of the Auburn and A&M games..... Otherwise, I'm not hopeful.
