My first game at DKR was 1970 against UCLA (I was 10). Down 17-13, Texas got the ball back with under a minute and Eddie Phillips threw a td to Cotton Speyrer to win the game 20-17. Extended their win streak to 23 games and went on to win a natty that year. Watched a lot before that game but that’s my first real memory of the Horns

So the committee could rank us 11 and ND 12 and they get in and we’re left out. Marvelous. All that means is the committee would go against their judgment in that situation and rank ND either ahead of us or 13. They won’t let it appear ND got in because of that agreement.

Do away with automatic top 4 seeding for P4 conf champs. Automatic qualifiers into the playoffs yes, but Miami and BYU getting byes and seeded 3/4 is not right, especially if BYU drops a game along the way. An argument can be made Boise St is just as good or better, but they’re seeded 12th

Quinn has incredible arm talent, especially when it comes to touch on intermediate passes. To be 1-1, he will need to continue to improve his reactionary quickness and show an ability/willingness to let it rip in tight spaces, especially red zone.
