- So About the Offensive Line in 2026
Very few have.- Why this is a dangerous new era for a college football program
Not necessarily dangerous imho, but definitely different. IF we continue to produce similar numbers into the NFL, it's a bit of a moot point. When and where we get the NFL prospects (HS, Portal, grad transfer, etc) from isn't as important as getting them. Texas is well-positioned in this era and (to date) seem to be operating well in the environment.- So About the Offensive Line in 2026
Not sure how many Cam Colemans and Hollywood Smothers have to occur before people stop with the 'Sky is Falling' panic. Here is my weekly reminder to the pant-pissers: We will be fine. Take a lap.- So About the Offensive Line in 2026
Good take, CJ. The landscape has changed immensely. IMHO, it's lazy to blame Flood for the loss of Brooks (he can be blamed for other things). The likelihood he has been recruited behind the scenes to a school who will feature him as a starter is almost a certainty. Texas will continue to lose key long-term project linemen in the new era unless something changes. We will also gain key pieces, so I think we're monitoring the new ways to see what becomes a norm vs a bad portal year when it comes to OL and other key positions.- Portal Palace
I wouldn't say we're building a team through the portal right now. We have taken 13 new commitments to date, the second lowest in the top 10. You have teams like Penn St. taking 35+ (so far), LSU at 26, and so on. We're entering an era where this is just the reality, and I still believe we're doing it the right way. It's going to be a balance, and in the next couple of years, a pattern will emerge that validates methods; we just aren't there yet. Losing Brooks hurts, and it's easy to blame Flood, but it may just be a sign of the times.- Portal Palace
- Portalfront Property in Arizona
I do enjoy Wadlington and Boyd's chemistry at IT. Boyd is a VERY solid technical football guy. He and Rod would be great. I think Justin is reasonably connected, but I'd take Gerry, CJ and Bobby's network over his. I do like the guy, though. All of these sites have a couple of guys / features that are good. The 247 site recruiting features are solid. Roach, Henry, both good. If I have to choose one, it's easy: OTF. I will be going down to two when my 247 sub runs out, OTF & IT. If OTF gets Boyd, I will be down to one.- Portalfront Property in Arizona
OTF = Excellent content, regular updates, strong YouTube / Podcast game, brilliant team of reporters for Texas IT = Decent technical reporting on Texas, some decent contacts within the system. Decent on recruiting (Gerry & CJ are much stronger). OB = Shouldn't be listed in the same group. Ketchum is unbearable. Horns 247 = All of their talent is now at OTF. Jeff, Rod, Gerry, all here now. Chip Brown is annoying AF. They have slowed down a lot with regards to frequency of info and quality. Have been a member for over a decade, but cancelling my sub this year.- Men’s Hoops: Texas vs. No. 13 Alabama game thread

Maybe Cam will leave after the first half. The Bama crowd is not giving any energy. Don't want to see them come back in the second half.- Men’s Hoops: Texas vs. No. 13 Alabama game thread
They look good so far. Playing hard and doing good work on the inside.- Men’s Hoops: Texas vs. No. 13 Alabama game thread
Will be watching in Brisbane. Would love for them to get a win with Coleman watching!- HOOK ‘EM! Former Pitt LB Rasheem Biles Commits to Texas

God Bless & God Speed to Jordan in his recovery, and all prayers to his family.- OTF community roll call (which state do you live in)
Originally, Liberty TX. Now living in Brisbane, Australia.- Men's Hoops: Texas vs. Mississippi State (5 p.m., SEC Network)
Feels all to familiar. Shaka or Rodney could have lost this game in a similar fashion.- Bijan Robinson is UNREAL
Comparing Bijan and Earl is like comparing a perfectly balanced sword to a battering ram. Both effective when used properly, but very different in style. If Bijan stays healthy, he will set many records. He is special.- New Portal Entry Likely (Friday 7:34 am) | UPDATE: Wisner Enters Portal
I'm very excited to see MT3 get some touches against Michigan. All reports are that he's been looking great at RB. Hate to see Wisner go, but next man up. All the best to Tre, he always showed up when we needed him most. - Post a picture of your dog
