I haven't listened to Brooks in a minute, so I can't really speak on what he may or might not have said. With that being said, my incredibly uneducated take is: He knows what he's doing. Texas is a brand that people seem to either love or love to hate. ANY slander will garner you clicks and views (from supporters and detractors alike), and in an attention economy, it's all good for him. He can slice and dice those clips, post them on social media (or as a YouTube Short), and his viewership numbers are bound to go up.

Great list! Muck N Fuss, Huisache and La Cosecha are my faves. Krause's Beer Garden is a decent spot as well if you're down for German fare (sausage, pretzels, etc.). Art House Cakery is THE spot for desserts!
