Six key visits for Texas this spring (Sunday 9:22 a.m. CST)
What’s the deal with visits for portal guys after they enter in mid-April? I assume they’re allowed to take OV’s once they enter, correct? Anyway, I’m hoping for a couple of dudes to fly out of Detroit to Austin later this spring.

Thursday: The Superlatives
Best interview Who will be the best recruiter for ‘25 kids? Best dressed when walking down Bevo Blvd. next fall. Best hair. Is there a Bert Auburn in the group?

Sooners Pushing Hard for Bridgeland OT
@Gerry Hamilton Where are the ‘23 guys (Cojoe, Stroh, Kirkland, Chatman and Goosby) at development wise? I’ve heard wonderful things about Trevor.

Sooners Pushing Hard for Bridgeland OT
OU does need some OL dudes. I’d rather focus on Fasusi and retaining guys already in the program. @Gerry Hamilton Do we really need a four man class? We have 14 guys that have 2 to 4 years left.

Saturday: A New World Order
You’re going to need a governing body that has way, way more power than the NCAA. For example, at a minimum, they need to have the power to subpoena. -a new subdivision (how many teams?) -a governing party with real power. Tampering is a HUGE problem as I type. -complete transparency with NIL -universal set of rules… example: one portal transfer; 30 day portal window when a head coach leaves (could potentially give a player two moves). We have that now. But, many more are needed. -NIL salary cap? That’s a tough one. I do think schools should be able to use funds from organizations like the LHF. Maybe a hard cap that only a few schools could reach, but they can’t exceed it.

Monday - Steady Improvement
Here’s to an uneventful off-season Tomorrow is the last day to enroll. Unless I missed something, we’re done until mid-April. Off-season workouts are in full effect. Players are hitting the weight room and field to improve their speed, strength, conditioning and skill. This is the time where culture wins. I’m under the belief that this group has fully embraced Sark ‘n staff vision, values, etc. Everything from eating right to staying on top their studies and how to do it has been outlined for them. So take a minute, bend a knee and pray to the College Football Gods for an uneventful offseason if that’s your thing. From what I can see and believe, it’s all there for the taking in ‘24. We’re in for a wonderful ride this fall. Hook ‘em!

Dissecting the Junior Days in College Station & Norman
Interesting. Lance Johnson was big. Who do you think is number 2 on Texas’s board for EDGE? I have Morgan from SOC on my board. And, do you think 2 will be the number at EDGE?

Sunday
It seems to me the field of prospects narrows by the end of February. The June OV’s are very telling about who they covet, but you can get a really good idea by March by reading here over the next five weeks. Of course, a Nate Kibble type will always surface and they’ll dial in on some guys like Xavier Filsaime late. Sark ‘n staff are already working on ‘26 kids as you can see with the recent commitment. Just thank your lucky stars these guys never stop looking, never give up and very forward thinking.
