Unfortunately only one DL on this list. I know it's off the top of your head, but it also tells me the state once again won't be producing top DL prospects and we'll have to search out of state again.

For those wondering, in 1982 he had a total of 22.5 sacks and 40.5 for his career at UT, with most of these coming his Jr. and Sr. years. Great defensive edge for UT.

It's early, but it feels like we won't get our first choice at defensive tackle spots. I have no doubt the one's we get will be good and they will get hyped up, but it's not feeling like the 5 and upper 4 star type players are feeling Texas right now (I know, I know...stars don't matter. But they do matter). Hopefully I'm wrong and Baker continues to develop these relationships to pull some guys it.

TonyG - totally agree...especially if it was only a 10 minute conversation ( I can have a 10 minute conversation on the toilet...lol!). I don't know what the strategy is here but I would think this is one recruit we would want to keep happy.
