Get well soon. I don't like predictions, but despite Klubnik being a great NFL prospect, he is going to be running for his life all game long. He'll make some plays, but he's going to get sacked AT LEAST 5 times. Not sure what that adds up to but I would say TEXAS scores 40+ and the TEXAS D will be the TEXAS D like they have all year long. I said it first! lol Here's something else that needs to be said: The powers that be need to lock up PK for the foreseeable future. While this defense SEEMS to be an all-timer, the truth is that we might very well be better next year. We have AntHill back next year. We have MM back. While we may lose 2 safeties, their backups look awesome. Simmons is here next year. And a host of other pass rushers, including Burke, who I see as a player who is just getting better and better. LeFau is back. We were worried going into this year about the DT position. Well, PK took care of that...and will do it yet again. We just recruited 3 stud DTs and we have January waiting in the wings. On offense, we have Arch, and he doesn't give a damn about any 3 high safety looks. He's going to be great, barring injury, of course. I realize we lose a lot on the OL, but we've got some studs in waiting. Sark has done our program PROUD. HOOKEM.

Great post. I am surprised that no one has replied. While we lost, the close loss tells us how close we really are. Of course we are disappointed, but this season has only just began! When you lose and it's so close, then the tendency is to try harder. We're going to do that.
