Been a Texas fan since 83 and have seen a pattern where they have a couple good seasons and then fall apart 90 was followed by 91, 95,96 was followed by 97 2005 was followed by the 06 late season collapse 04,05 followed by mediocre 2006 and of course 08,09 was followed by the epic 2010 collapse so seems to be par the course for this season to be a major disappointment

If his hand is bad enough to have surgery there is no way he can come back and play in two weeks

Guess it will be Michael Hawkins starting in the Cotton Bowl

Not getting too excited about what was a glorified scimmage but it was nice to see Arch throw accurate passes with confidence, Offensive line still worries me

You win in modern football by being able to throw and catch, Yes having a QB with some mobility helps but look at who has wins national championships now days, Its either great defensive teams who have solid game managers who can hit key passes when they have to (Ohio St, Michigan. Georgia) or guys with superstar passers (Alabama, LSU, Clemson)
