I am very excited to get to know most of the new faces on the board as we progress into the offseason. For those who are new to following my coverage of Texas Football, just know there are times where I get stuck in random rabbit holes looking for obscure facts and tidbits across both team coverage and the recruiting world. And for you all on this beautiful Tuesday afternoon, I have ventured back into a rabbit hole of recruiting. We have talked about the national approach we have seen

Prosper offensive lineman Connor Carty is the third new scholarship offer made to a member of the 2025 recruiting cycle today by the Longhorn coaching staff. Carty, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive lineman, was offered by Texas just moments ago. Carty also has scholarship offers from Baylor, Arkansas and more. Earlier today, Tyler Chapel Hull running back Rickey Wright and Bridgeland High School offensive lineman Ryan Fodje were offered scholarships by the Longhorns. http://www.hud

Of all of the things I least expected to happen to Texas during the 2025 season, there’s no way I would’ve called Arch Manning and Christian Clark to be the two Longhorns who’d go over 100 yards rushing in the same game. Nevertheless, Manning led Texas with 155 yards and two touchdowns in Wednesday’s 41-27 win over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. But it was Clark’s 105-yard effort on 20 carries that paced the Longhorn rushing attack, which churned out 235 yards, one yard shy of a season high (

Seventh-ranked Texas opened the 2025 home schedule by checking a lot of boxes in Saturday’s 38-7 win over San Jose State. Arch Manning threw for 295 yards and accounted for five touchdowns (four passing and one rushing), quarterbacking an offense that racked up 472 yards (7.3 yards per play). Parker Livingstone recorded the first 100-yard game of his young career (128 yards and two touchdowns on four receptions) and CJ Baxter Jr. (13 carries for 64 yards) paced the running game, which avera

Thoughts on what happened to No. 1 Texas in a 14-7, season-opening loss to No. 3 Ohio State
If you would’ve told me ahead of Saturday’s game that Texas would win the rushing yardage battle over Ohio State by 89 yards (166-77), limit the Buckeyes to a 4-for-14 effort on money downs (3-for-12 on third down and 1-for-2 on fourth down), hold the Ohio State offense to 3.8 yards per play and dominate field position (the averaging starting field position for the Longhorns was their own 32-yard line, while the Buckeyes’ averaging starting field position was their own 20), I would’ve expected t- 195 comments

If anyone has lingering concerns about Arch Manning’s postseason foot surgery impacting his availability or effectiveness as QB1 for the Texas Longhorns in 2026, Steve Sarkisian set the record straight on Tuesday. “People are overreacting way too much to this,” Sarkisian said during a live radio interview with Craig Way on Austin’s AM 1300 The Zone. “The guy had a foot issue that we had to get fixed that we didn’t want to do last year, obviously, right before the season and/or during the se

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas was out of sorts for large stretches of Tuesday’s 84-75 win over South Carolina. Nevertheless, the Longhorns overcame a forgettable offensive first half (8-for-26 shooting) and turnovers and defensive lapses in the second half to exit Moody Center with a victory over the Gamecocks in a must-win game. Dailyn Swain scored 15 of his team-high 22 points in the second half (10 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season, with three assists and two steals), while Tram
