    Four-star OT to visit Texas The Texas Longhorns continue to make a run an a number of the nation's top prospects. One of those is 4-star Nick Brooks out of John F. Kennedy High in Cedar Rapids, Ia. Brooks, 6-7 and 350 pounds, told OnTexasFootball Tuesday that he does have a visit scheduled to Texas this spring.     Texas DL coach Kenny Baker has extended an offer 2025 Randle DL Chace Sims. Baker stopped by Randle High School in February for one of the first stops as the Texas DL coach.  Texas is the 14th offer for the 6-foot-2 and 305-pound defensive lineman. Right now, Sims has just one official visit locked in – Texas Tech on June 21-23. So far, Sims holds offers from Texas A&M, LSU, Texas Tech, Kansas State and several others.

    Joining the California Power 7-on-7 team in attending The University of Texas March 22 will be 2025 DeSoto DB Sael Reyes.  The 6-foot-1 defensive back has 26 offers since his recruitment began.     The Texas Longhorns continue the pursuit of OnTexasFootball 4-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn (Greensboro, Ga./Greene County).     OnTexasFootball has learned 2026 Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA) quarterback Troy Huhn will be returning to Austin April 6 for an unofficial visit. Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorn staff have extended three offers in the 2026 class, though there is the most familiarity with Huhn who will be making his third appearance to campus since his recruitment began.
