Here are the freshmen that truly caught my eye yesterday. Couple of things before I get to the list: First, I did not pick a certain number of players here. I didn't say only the top 5 or top 10. Given the recent departure of Director of Player Personnel Billy Glasscock to Ole Miss as General Manager, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian must now decide whether he wants to backfill the previous role Glasscock - Director of Player Personnel - held or create an entirely new structure for his off-field support staff. While Sark is mulling those options overall, I am hearing that two individuals are expected to receive a bump in title and responsibility: Brandon Harris and John Michael Jones.

Steve Sarkisian is up in the north east tip of Texas today. Sarkisian will be visiting Texas High, home of 2026 RB Tradarian Ball and 2025 DB Xavier Skowron. The Texas head coach will also be making a stop by Pleasant Grove to see newest Longhorn commit 2025 EDGE Lance Jackson and stopping by with HC Josh Gibson who joined us on Coffee & Football on Monday.

As we sit here on a beautiful Friday morning a handful of sleeps ahead of spring football kicking off it is worth the laugh to sit here and ponder over how spring break has changed for student athletes.
