That's not an honest assessment of who caught my eye. These are truly the ones that got my attention. Second, if a player didn't make this list, it's not an indictment on them. Far from it. I just didn't see enough of them athletically that really caught my eye on day one. For example, Ch

Given the recent departure of Director of Player Personnel Billy Glasscock to Ole Miss as General Manager, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian must now decide whether he wants to backfill the previous role Glasscock - Director of Player Personnel - held or create an entirely new structure for his off-field support staff. While Sark is mulling those options overall, I am hearing that two individuals are expected to receive a bump in title and responsibility: Brandon Harris and John Michael Jones.

The Longhorns are fully under way in the winter conditioning period. I wanted to share some tidbits that came across my line on this beautiful Friday morning. *** We have mentioned it briefly on Coffee & Football, but there is a concerted effort being made by Quinn Ewers to take this team under his wing. Does Texas need to address the tight end position when the spring transfer portal window opens in April? The answer is nuanced, but I don’t think the Longhorns' strategy will make or break the offense in 2025. Spring practice will be Jordan Washington’s opportunity to emerge as someone who can be counted on when the rubber meets the road in the fall. Steve Sarkisian has coached productive, NFL-caliber tight ends as a college coach (Austin Seferian-Jenkins at Washington, O.J. Howard and

As we sit here on a beautiful Friday morning a handful of sleeps ahead of spring football kicking off it is worth the laugh to sit here and ponder over how spring break has changed for student athletes. The trips to South Padre or Destin has turned into a first class flight to Jamaica or Cancun. It is rather remarkable to sit here and reflect on how spring break has evolved in the NIL era. But regardless, one last opportunity for the team to sit back and relax prior to spring football
