Fundamentals and between the ears. He doesn't process at an acceptable level for a 3rd year QB, and his fundamentals when setting up are abysmal. Any other name of the back of his jersey would have him riding the bench by now.

Wingo is not the #1 wr we need.  He is talented but has not stepped up. 
 

We have to start moving the pocket more.  Our OL is not going to give enough time plus Arch is more accurate when moving because he does not have time to think about the throw.  He is skipping and sailing throws on well designed plays.

This is really disturbing to me. This was a must win game that went down to the last play. Arch wasn’t good. He wasn’t winning this game. Why wasn’t Sark doing everything he could, including a quarterback change, to win?!

Truth!!

Against OU last week and Michigan last season Texas committed to short, quick, easy passes and outside zone runs.  That worked well. Other stuff eventually opened up.

We saw none of that tonight.

By no Means did you guys lie but I do think we’re all learning first hand that Sark and the entire football program cannot be trusted as sources.  Too much arrogance and makes it difficult to report on the team.

Joel Klatt went to practice. What did he say preseason? 

All the other national media people that were at practices and such. What did they say? 

What did all the former players that go to practice say? Very similar. 

It's not just Texas, to be clear. It's in general when a team goes bad in college or pro sports. The team media coverage people are always blamed for lying and bad sources. And that is complete BS IMO. 

What if there is culture rot during a season behind the scene? What if there is staff rot during a season? Etc... There is so much that goes into success, and sustained success IMO. 

But we all have different opinions, and that's what makes the world go round. I get it. 

 

High emphasis on the second to last paragraph. Internal factors occurring behind the scenes are not the fault of Texas reporters. How is it Gerry’s fault that Texas is playing like they are?

Gerry - I truly do love your work.  No joke. Recruiting efforts and insights are better Than EVERYONE out there. And your work on the road is commendable and shows commitment to your craft.

can we at least agree that this team looked worse today than the past 2 weeks?  And perhaps even worse than they did in preseason practices? Based on the preseason reporting, I think we all expected more….. I don’t see much progress with this team as a whole.
