If Ole Miss was 9-3 and out of the playoff, this wouldn’t be as messy.

The timing and the messed up calendar drove it more than any coach or admin IMO Was going to be very messy due to Ole Miss being a playoff team 

Pete Golding apparently has won the team over. I don’t see them going far in the playoffs. Question is, does the committee punish them for it?

Coaches move up the ladder all the time. If he thinks LSU is a better opportunity, what is he to do? 

Everybody burning because of lane and ole miss and I’m over here laughing be cause of a report (could be made up but I don’t care) that Lincoln Riley tried to get in on the Florida job but was shot down multiple times.

You just proved my point.  Happens all the time with the same calendar.  Most other coaches have a maturity level above a 13 year old boy though.

Don’t know why he’d wanna do that . He made his intentions clear about not wanting to coach in the SEC when OU announced the move. I wonder if he’d go to Penn State if Deboer doesn’t go.

I don’t think anyone has indicated Kiffin shouldn’t be able to seek a better (actual or perceived) gig. It’s how he has gone about it.

And a lot of it is being reported by both OM and LSU sides plus national reporters.  So the “I’m not sure I believe all that” doesn’t really fly.

If you’re LSU and you’re dropping $14/year on a coach, don’t you want to announce it before signing day? It certainly appears their class is holding together now.
