They would succeed with all 3 of those, imo. With the money behind them and the recruiting ground in Florida and around them. Now it just depends if any of them want the job.

Agreed. I think any of those three should do well

I can say this … DeBoer is pretty miserable at Bama per someone I trust.

Bull Gators (richest alums) want Lane Kiffin

Kiffin, Marcus Freeman and Eli Drinkwitz are mentioned most.

It should be 1. Freeman, 2a Drinkwitz and 2b Kiffin IMO

Has Kiffin won a championship anywhere he has coached. Kiffin is overrated.

I haven’t read the 5 pages, but what do we think about Will Stein for some of these HC gigs?

I think he will be up for discussion. Not for any top jobs though, imo. Plus I think he can afford to be pretty selective, as I don't think Lanning is going to move him on.

LSU could be looking soon too.

I almost wonder if Kelly would be a guy Penn State is interested in? That place seems more his speed than LSU. The question than becomes, who does LSU go after, if they go that route.

Bring this back to the top every Sunday morning

Hey according to the rumours, we could be joining the list, what a wild off-season that would be huh?😂

My guess is with the new NIL era and the amount of dollars getting thrown around these coaches leashes are about to get a lot shorter than they use to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this sort of turnover on an annual basis.

Plus with the signing days and the portal window now, you need to get ahead of the curve with your hire.

Thanks. I was looking for this and couldn’t find it.  This is going to be wild and entertaining.

Is it a similar scenario to Venables where Kelly has to finish the regular season 8-4 to keep his job?  After this bye week, Kelly has to go to Bama, play at home against Arkansas and WKU (LOL) before finishing at OU.  Not sure they win any of those games besides WKU.

Possible openings:

Cough, cough

LSU - if so poor hospitals and people of Louisiana, 53 million is a lot unless they can auburn it

Oklahoma - I still don’t understand that random extension they gave him when they did. But I hope he remains there for a lifetime

Florida State - will depend on Saudi PE

Kentucky - a ton of money due to raise during A&M debacle

Wisconsin - surprised this hasn’t already happened

NC State (retirement rumors) - Good career and hats off to em

North Carolina? - 1 million step down buyout and hand off to his son, right?

Colorado? - Definitely see Deion stepping down with his health issues

Texas?

Are you saying Colorado wasn’t happy with yesterday? 😂

With LSU looking likely and others possible, I wouldn’t mind if OU snuck out another win, just enough to convince them to keep coach vulnerable and avoid the madness of this offseason (note that I did not say that I would be rooting for OU. That will never happen)
