ESPN says he’s out a month. It doesn’t seem like a “tactic.”

What are you talking about? This isn't some fake deal. You don't have fake surgery to confuse Texas.

Bummer, Red River was going to be an epic showdown.

Dak Prescott had the same injury and missed 5 weeks a year ago. Also didn’t look great when he came back for what it’s worth

That's if you believe what it's a broken bone and not a torn ligament. OU is very likely lying their butts off about the extent of the injury.

Here’s to a complete recovery for young Mr Mateer. And then follow coach Arbuckle to start for Okie Lite next year.
