Brock Williams - 2027 TE

Featured Replies

We’re going to see Brock Williams play tonight. He’s a five star TE who plays for Libertyville (IL) HS. Will report back.

Brock had about 5 catches for 55 yards and a TD. Looked like a good player, but he’s not close to 6-5 and not a five star imo.

He played mostly in-line but made his catches from the slot.  Good hands and made two tough contested catches.

But his team got spanked and he was pretty frustrated on the field. Not sure he’d be at the level our current TEs are right now.

How was his blocking, explosive athletics, size seeing him in person?

He was a willing blocker, but overpowered at times by smaller players. Really good hands and caught the ball away from his body. Good in contested catch situations. Returned kickoffs and showed good agility.

But he was maybe 6’-2 1/2 and looked a bit thin. Not as big as his instagram profile of 6-5 220

His frustrations became a bit of a lightning rod and the crowd actually chanted “overrated” at him, which I thought was a bit much.

He could be a good college player, but he didn’t seem like a game changer at the college level.
