Dia Bell Update

I can now talk about this a little more.

When I stopped by American Heritage Wednesday, Dia Bell was not at school. He was at doctor getting an undisclosed injury  taken a look at. At the time, the American Heritage staff didn’t know the extent of the injury. 

Per multiple reports, the 5-star QB is in street clothes tonight.

There is chatter in the South Florida coaching community that Bell could be out for the remainder of the season. That is not OTF reporting that. We do not have confirmation of the severity of the injury, or even what the injury actually is.

Explains the Sr QB transfer in at Heritage 

Gerry need to visit Mater Dei.

Adds up with the QB from Miami Northwestern transferring there.

How does a QB transfer schools two weeks into the season?  That’s wild 

This doesn’t sound good. Hope Dia is OK.

Guessing the family wants to keep injury private but inform the Texas staff.

Bell's had a rough go in high school with back-to-back season ending injuries.  Get well soon, young man.

The comments in the thread of his 31-28 comeback victory were kinda prescient. “Kid’s gonna get demolished back there behind this offensive line.” Hope he can come in fully healed, tough outcome for Dia.

Guys getting injured a lot in HS make me worry. Tends to lean towards a career littered with injuries. Ewers, Baxter, etc. Anyway, wish him all the best in his recovery.

Not arm or shoulder related. Not knee or last years injury related from what I was told. 

Some chatter about sports hernia ... but please don't go around saying OTF reported hernia.
