Serious question. Did people really think that an offense with a new qb with minimal starts under his belt, 4 new o lineman, new skill position players across the board for the most part, were going t

My biggest issue with the offense is the lack of sustained drives against an inferior opponent. Only scoring success was on the big play and short fields which will be harder to come by against a team with more even talent.

Needs a complete overhaul....we have no identity, all the position groups look terrible, play calling is bad, red zone is bad.

Find another f-ing team to root for dude, or come back when you grow up.

Self-inflicted wounds. Penalties, turnovers, and drops. Those drops from Wingo and Washington were so bad. They look incredibly sloppy.

You deserve Charlie Strong and Sean Watson as your coach.

Only Texas fans want to fire the head coach who has them back prominent

They played Montana State last week. Totally comparable to OSU in Columbus. They play Okie St this afternoon so that will be better litmus. We had our starting RB out today along with two of the top four WRs today. Penalties have to be addressed. Play clean there and magically the offense gets more efficient.

It appears Oregon is ripping them a new a-hole

You like the offense? You like we’ve been held back by them the last 2 years?

It’s on players for lack of focus and poor execution not the coaches.

I figure he wants to get this solved before basketball season starts. He was already trashing Sean Miller when he was hired. Amazing that a combo football/basketball savant is relegated to posting with us poors.

OP who you want hire? Lets hear it?

Belichick, until last Monday.

What I want to know is how Sark thought it would be wise to come into the season surrounding his inexperienced qb with a bunch of inexperienced receivers.

Our WR portal add is hurt.

It is an issue.

Average yards to go on 3rd down today was 9.7 yards. Not gonna be very good when that’s the situation.

Especially with an inexperienced QB

Inexperience doesn’t look like this. This looks like poorly coached. Oregon replaced a ton on offense and they look great.

I totally agree with you but Oregon doesn’t get nearly the amount of national hate and pressure that Texas gets which I believe contributes a whole lot to how these guys play and coach. Especially Arch and the offense. Still, it’s an issue that needs to be inexcusable and hopefully when they go into the swamp and hopefully beat Florida, I think some of that pressure will come off. They just have to win one big one and they’ll have a weight lifted off of them and play like they’re expected too play.

Arch is more comfortable throwing the ball 40 yards downfield than he is tossing it to someone wide open standing right next to him.

It’s hard to sustain drives when you’re constantly putting yourself behind the chains with penalties.

7 for 26 on 3rd down this season.

That is a definite concern. 2-12 against SJSU. The score isn't what bothers me, it's the execution and lack of consistency. It's the sloppiness and laziness getting 12 penalties. I saw Simmons jump offsides 2 or 3 times.

I think if Wingo is going to play as bad as he has we need to try Lockett. Nibblett being on the field and expecting to be a lead blocker on screens shouldn't be a thing at all. Stroh doesn't need to be on the field. He's a liability due to having 2 cinder blocks attached to his feet. He's only good if he can get his hands on you. I think sometimes coaches tend to have a tendency to put too much into how a player practices and don't account for gamers.
