From what I heard all off-season, it sounded like Hero Kanu was playing more with the 2nd and 3rd string. However, it looked like he was on the field a lot. Was that more because he's better or Sark wanted more experience against the Buckeyes?

Not quite 30 but a lot of rotation for such a big game on the road.

I thought Justus Terry was out there as well.

They went more jumbo EDGE/5 with Kanu to stop the run vs. Ohio State 

The defensive line was awesome. It isn't Colin Simmons and a bunch of others. They played great yesterday. 

Re-watched the game late last night and both lines of scrimmage were really good. As for the defense, you had the two penalties that kept the first scoring drive alive and the big play to Tate. Those can be corrected, but they're also things that happen game to game. 

If you really think Arch will keep missing open throws, I don't know what to tell you. I'll take that defense and run game with Arch's talent every time.

Ethan Burke played really good. The dude is a problem for our opponents.

They also made sure that Collin wasn’t going to be the superstar. Very quick passing. This is to be expected where teams are going to scheme around him

Kanu and Shaw played well. Glad to have lots of capable bodies on the interior.

January, Brevard, Watson all looked solid. Defense wins championships.

Graceson Littleton looked different out there in just the way he moved. He's smooth.

Our defense is going to be a problem for all of our opponents.

Hero Kanu looked solid yesterday.  Hoping a sixth guy emerges in that interior DL room to have a true 3-deep rotation.  Could be Melvin Hills or Lavon Johnson.

Repeat yesterday’s performance defensively with more splash plays (TFLs, fumble recoveries, interceptions, sacks, etc.) and this defense could be one of the best in school history.  Helps to have a punter that makes opposing offenses drive the length of the field to score points on them.

I'm glad someone else noticed that as well. A bunch of people over reacting (as usual) after a tough loss.
