I don’t expect he’ll make the 53 but if he clears to be on the practice squad.

Really hoping he makes the 53.

If not he will go to practice squad if unclaimed. However, if he did get claimed I was thinking of teams he could potentially land with and compete for playing time.

Its probably a long shot but Three teams that stand out as potential landing spots throughout the year where he could go in as a #2 and possibly compete for the #1 job in the case of an injury are 

1. Saints (Ratter, Shough, Haener)

2. Jaguars (Lawrence, Nick Mullens, John Wolford)

3. Titans (Cam Ward, Brendan Allen, Trevor Siemian)

It was 4th and 4, so he had nothing to lose by making a risky throw rather than take a sack or throw it away. Great play under the circumstances.

The Tyler Shough pick is still mindblowing. They would probably be best off starting Taysom Hill at this point.but you're absolutely right... They're on a two year tank plan and they might not even realize it yet. 

Could easily see them panic and overdraft Nuss next year if he performs well.
