He definitely wasn’t the ideal QB, but always enjoyed watching the Swoopes package. Notre Dame TD to win was fun as hell to witness in person 

Super Bill Bradley 18.

Exceptional NFL career as a S for Philadelphia.  SWC record holder for interceptions in a game vs aTm (4 on Turkey day 1968).  That game was my first in person Longhorn game, and the day I decided I was going to UT. Got to visit in the locker room (different world back then) which was a thrill for a 15 year old.

The Sheriff!  Stanley was a stud. 

Stanley was the man. 

I think I saw Bradley's last game at QB. A tie against Houston before Street stepped in to QB the Wishbone. He was one of the last two way guys that I recall. He was a phenomenal safety. As mentioned in s previous post, his Turkey Day performance in his last regular season game stonewalled the farmers. This was back when tailgating was cold fried chicken, celery stuffed with pimento cheese & home made tamales. Dad always seemed to have a couple of beers. Sorry for being long winded. Bradley epitomized what being a Longhorn was about.  🤘🏼
