10/36 is definitely an eye opening number…. 

Just realized 1 out of every 6 deep balls resulted in an INT. Yikes. 

Given Mateer's inconsistent mechanics, arm angles and release, it's not surprising he has trouble with longer throws. We'll see how well he does against much better competition.

Gabriel had quite a few more offensive weapons than Mateer will have. If he tries to hero ball, don't think it will turn out well.

Maybe it’s because i know how good we are on defense, But i don’t get the hype on him. This isn’t those teams that play half ass defense anymore in the SEC.

Well he's from an Air Raid offense, right? From my recollection of the air raid, it's all about getting your WR's the ball and letting them do the work, no? So short passes, etc.
