Agreed and I cant say I thought that when we drafted him.  Luckly over the years I have learned that they know way more about drafting baseball players than I do.

The big problem with him is he has a ton of swing and miss. Even in AAA it was off the charts compared to league average. If he could figure that out, he could be amazing. If he can't, he could still have a Jose Hernandez/Rob Deer kind of output.

He started 1 for 12.  The last 2 games have been different.  Hopefully he can keep this momentum.

I don’t know where the Astros keep finding these studs in their depleted farm system but they do.  If they ever get healthy they will be extremely dangerous.

Or if he can draw enough walks at the major league level to put together a quality OBP 

Has to be one or the other to reach very high
