SEC Storied: Wishbone

Featured Replies

I'll always wonder what would have happened if Royal hadn't of passed on the wishbone knowledge to Switzer and Bryant.

I do remember it from when I was very young.  Interesting to watch when executed well and at the time was so innovative.

One of my high school friends was Steve Worster #30 Woo Woo Worster. 2 time all American for Texas . One of the best down to earth young man you will ever want to meet .

Also, Texas Day on the SEC Network on July 11. Peach Bowl, Texas at A&M football, WCWS CG, A&M-Texas men's basketball in the SECT are among the events.

It’s one of the biggest “what if” questions in program history that doesn’t get talked about enough.

Not much. Both teams put their own spin on the offense, and plenty of others ran it effectively without spending a couple of days with our staff.

Thank you ! He would have appreciated that comment. Little known note he was also offered a baseball scholarship at UT & he chose football 🏈
