4-star+ RB KJ Edwards commits to Texas A&M

Featured Replies

The season happening, sark & staffs abilities to be the hardest pits in the liter as far as recruiting (RIP BIG POKEY) as usual will remedy a lot of this.

We just got the top class last year. Kinda hard to say we are getting our pants dropped when we have loaded talent on campus and schools like A&M throw crazy money at kids cause they sucked last year.   This staff knows what they are doing and I bet it works out just fine for us still regardless if a couple chose somewhere else right now

We will see

I feel like in this age of NIL it is better to get the early OV instead of the last.

People are still trying to blame position coaches (Scott) in very obvious bag dropping moments.  Thought we knew better

we drop bags to you know this right?  we did with justice terry last year

For those wondering, Texas has not had communication with Georgetown RB Jett Walker recently.

There’s no way he’s scholarship good. Maybe PWO

Chad Scott offered him while at WVU, fwiw.

I understand the levels of RB recruiting between the two, yes. Plus, folks have wondered if there had been communication.

Walker is definitely a P4-level back.

I wonder if we only go for 1 RB that is a project this year and load up next year or go to the portal. With last years class I think we will be ok.

so who we still have a shot at?  last years rbs were just guys need to find get that special back or two to keep it going.

No one, class is doomed! DOOMED I TELL YOU!

Texas has the top one or two QB committed in the country.

The Fat Lady isn't warming up yet... BUT when Texas doesn't get a recruit, I always remind myself that I only want players who want to be on my team at my university... for whatever reason. If a recruit commits elsewhere it shows me that they didn't want to be a Longhorn.

not saying that but an elite rb to follow baxter and weisner would be nice

The goal is to maintain a stacked room, not just to have one.

So after watching this coaching staff, do you REALLY think we won't have one lol
