Feel like the team deserves to be kept in the conversation after their accomplishment.

Looks like Coach is bringing in a pretty talented class, one of the players just won Gatorade player of the year.  Hopefully fill in the holes left by key departing seniors.  Get Kavan some help while shoring up the defense and the team is well positioned to defend their title next year.

Separately. sand aggy is straight up not even hiding the fact that they are going all in on spending money signing about 5 of the top portal players and having their lower ranked players pack their bags.

Can’t blame aggie or anyone for playing within the new rules. One thing Coach White said the other day that I took note of. He said we don’t want to bring in players and recruit over ones we have. Benefit of a doubt to a man who just won a title but I personally don’t mind bringing in players if they improve the team. Maybe he didn’t mean that.

Tech just added its third All-American level player via the portal. House Settlement apparently doesn’t apply to Tech or they’ve decided a way around it.

 

I'm thinking Tech can't do anything we can't do. Football more important than anything.

House settlement was never going to stop anything.

That or they’re just going all in on softball which is really their only chance at winning a natty anytime soon. Of course, they’re just as likely to think they found a loophole and end up being the poster child for enforcement in the post-house world.

There’s going to be loopholes regardless. You can bet Texas is looking for one. Adapt or die.
