Schloss definitely exceeded expectations with a roster with mostly Pierce’s guys. He’s now bringing his guys in.

IMO he will use NIL better than Pierce's everyone gets a piece but he will also have more scholarships available to use in place of NIL to mid and lower roster guys due to NCAA stuff.

Not gonna lie that surprises me on Flores.

This really isn’t anything personal against any of these kids, but the regional tournament showed that to compete we must get better……across the board and added several more dependable pitchers.

We have a good core of players who contributed returning. Mendoza, ARod, Volantis, Burns, Grubbs, Borba, Chamberlain, Winfield, Harrison, Jonah, Riojas

Walker, Sauiner, and Flores with another year under the Wiener Factory could be huge next year.

Ford will end up signing in the draft. Top 75 overall prospect.

Becker will be at Mississippi State most likely.

Teel is also a major draft risk. Top 150 type prospect.

The only guy leaving that I didn’t want to see go at this point is Farmer.

Any other portal guys expected to visit?

Tied for team lead in errors 
Above average in terms of fielding percentage.

I'm sure he would, but Galvan and Flores (even though he didn't have a great year) would cost themselves a lot of money by not taking the signing bonus they'd get in the draft. Seniors in the draft have no leverage and sign for peanuts.

It wouldn't have been better than it was in 2024. The staff almost had to deal with a player revolt heading into the NCAA Tournament.

My gut tells me Texas would've put up more of a fight to keep him if an upgrade wasn't on the way.

Zaharias, Werchan, Sanders and O'Hara were gone before the start of the season.
