There was a horrific storm cell that tan through Austin on Wednesday evening and as a result, the Disch is going to need some quick repairs ahead of the Regional this weekend. 

These pictures were posted by x/TheJoeyBarnett quickly after the storm hit. 

Texas is set to host Houston Christian at 1pm on Friday afternoon. 

Hail on the east side of Austin about 20 minutes after the storm hit.

Well, the scoreboards and lights are still there!!  It was very intense about 6 miles North and a little east.

I got caught driving in it in Leander, and it was not fun. Fortunately no damage to my car. Same can’t be said about my underwear.

New risers constructed down the left field line. Texas has done this for previous regionals as well

Texas is not considering alternative sites to host the regional according to a school official.
