Nine up, nine down for Burns. Game over. Series over. Texas wins.

BOOM! A line-drive home run by Schuessler makes it a 9-1 game.

What an inaugural run in the SEC. Β To think, the consensus a year ago was that we would be competitive in every sport other than baseball in our first season of SEC play.

Even though we lost game two, watching Schloss go out and joke around with the boys before going to Grubbs was great. He's the coolest Texas coach.

I've heard a lot about our "easy" schedule.Β  Our opponents were 123-107 against all foes other than UT.Β  Not sure the SEC was "Texas ready".Β Β πŸ˜‚

I wonder what team Missouri had those three wins against?   🀣🀣🀣

Pitching was great yesterday and really that has been the team's strength.Β  Hitting was timely yesterday and that has been the norm for a lot of the wins because our hitting overall has not been that great, especially in SEC play.Β  We have 5 starters hitting under .250 in SEC play.Β  Now is the time for the team to start getting hot, or at least by the time the regionals start.Β  That can make a big difference in getting to Omaha.
