Chad Scott has offered a new 2026 running back.

Carsyn Baker of Langston Hughes High in Fairborn, Georgia reported an offer this afternoon from the new Longhorn RB coach.

Baker, a 6-foot-2-inch RB, claims a 10.61 time in the 100m this year.

Baker visited Ohio State April 8th and has received offers in the past week from Texas, Oregon State, and East Carolina.

Official visits for Baker:

May 16 — Florida

May 30 — Clemson

June 6 — Florida State

June 13 — Ohio State

June 20 — Texas A&M

He just replaced A&M with South Carolina for June 20.

My take on the offer is pretty simple. He’s damn good and Texas is going to recruit the best in the country. Penn State has also offered and is trying to get him to visit.

If he’s a legit 6’2 and running almost sub 10.6. That’s some wild athleticism right there.

I guess teams need to get him on campus and measure him.  Pick a number, any number ...

6' 1/2" 195 247

6' 1" 195 On3

6' 0" 210 Rivals

6' 2" 200 MaxPreps

Seriously

He’s a stud, got some Baxiter similarities idk if he’s as explosive but think he has more top end speed than CJ

I get the height and weight deal,  but which one of those listings would eliminate him from consideration.

Now if he ran a 11.6 instead of 10.6,  that's different.
