If I wasn’t just at the dentist this morning I absolutely would be hitting that spot. I love me some good onion rings, I hate that Jake’s in Allen went under. A big hot dog and onion rings was awesome back in the day. 

Anyone want to guess the D1 OL here at Crowley?

27 OL Alexander Herrera tells me he’s got a few visits lined for June:

June 6 — Texas 

June 8 — Texas Tech

June 10 — TCU

Herrera will attend the camp in Austin, but won’t be able to participate in on-field drills after undergoing a small knee procedure this spring. Nothing torn fortunately.

27 WR Antayvious Ellis says Texas is at the top of his list currently. 

Called Texas WRU with its recent WR development and has been growing a very strong relationship with. Chris Jackson. 

 

Ellis holds 35 offers currently. He has plans to see Nebraska on June 4-5 and says Ohio State and Oregon have talked about getting him back up to campus for visits. 

Ellis was dealing with a slight hamstring strain so no running or working out today.

He moved from Arkansas to Texas when he was 11 and says he’d like to still visit that area again but doesn’t have any emotional ties to any specific area for the most part. Feels like a truly national recruitment will eventually emerge if it’s not already at that point. 

 

I would bet right now Ellis is the top 27 WR on the board in-state for Texas. 

Think Tre Moore is close to the top as well.

Weather permitting, I should be able to see a full padded practice from Felix Ojo this afternoon.

Ojo is a big *** dude. 

When Ojo turns it on, man he is fun. Super athletic and bendy for his size. 

 

Florida OV next week for Ojo. 

Then Ohio State, Michigan, Texas and Oklahoma in that order to wrap up the summer trips. 

Ojo has already officially visited Texas Tech, Ole Miss. 

Staying close to home is not a priority for Ojo who said he and his family are open to basically anywhere at the moment. 

Texas A&M is not under consideration currently. 

Ojo tells me Trevor Goosby is likely to host him on his official visit. Says he is close with DJ Campbell as well. 

 

“Coach Flood sees me as a true left tackle because of my length and my athleticism.  He sees me coming in to play that left tackle spot.” — Ojo this afternoon.
