The staff did not want him back. Bobby and the team alluded to this a few times, assuming it was attitude and off the field related.

It hurt me watching Quinn’s reaction. I think it’s the first time I’ve felt that I was seeing his true emotion and not a chilled out shell. Never seen him so hurt and I hope it ignites something great in him.

McDaniel is a perfect successor as a mentor for Quinn. He knows that Miami offense already. Just got to tighten up things in the pocket and let it rip.

McDaniel is also a very positive-approach coach. He did a lot to help Tua’s confidence, could do the same for Quinn. 

Hope "missed tackle" Stutsman gives Banks, Broughton and Ford the horns down the day he's cut.

Well, we just saw one from Alabama go in the 1st, so not completely impossible, but I do agree. Best he could get to is 2nd (which is still great). I think he makes a huge leap this coming year and hopefully takes on a more leadership role there.

Traditionally yes, last 2 years the top 2 guards (maybe 3 in 2025 depending on where you put North Dakota state guy) have gone in the first round.  If DJ is top two IOL in college football, and lights come fully on senior year, he has the measurables and athleticism to be 1st,/2nd round.
