How soon can Shaka join them?

We've hired their coaches. They can have ones that didn't pan out here. Not a big deal to me.

I’m skeptical about the Beard to A&M rumors but anything could happen. Though Beard had previously said that he would prefer to be at a Nike school and A&M is Addidas. I think Ole Miss is Nike as well.  Plus, unless he’s really desperate hard to see him go the Addidas route.

I would not have a problem with it. RT is not trying to throw shade at Texas. And if it works then the athletic department at Texas would have to step up their commitment to men’s basketball. No way will they let A&M beat them over and over again.

Texas takes current aggy coaches, while Aggy takes fired Texas coaches.  

The pecking order is pretty clear.

I still don't see Beard leaving Ole Miss for aggie. Maybe I'm just being hard headed about it since I don't want him going there. I don't doubt he's in the conversation to be there next coach but I think most of the smoke is just the aggie wanna be's tweeting and posting non stop about it.

I seriously don't understand why someone would want to live in Gooberville. I live 35 minutes from that place and it sucks lol. Just going there to do our shopping pains me

Already at "Texas A&M University (Ole Miss)" according to Wikipedia as of 4/2/25 1:38 p.m. CST.  He was the coach at High Point before the latest edit.

I had to stay there while doing some work in the oilfields about 10 years ago. Always wore my Longhorn gear when we would go out to eat or to HEB 😁

Honestly I do not care and not worried about it.. Every hire by aggie is their savior... Aggy will never win anything... Rinse and repeat.... Plus as soon as NC comes calling or Kansas Beard is gone there.

It would worry me.  Beard is an excellent coach.  Don't care where RT goes, assistant or otherwise.  Good luck to him, and if that's the job he gets then happy for him.

If Beard to A&M crosses the finish line, I'd expect John Reilly, Bob Donewald Jr. and Mark Adams to follow him.

Would make for some big time matchups. I’m more focused on Miller and what he brings than what’s happening elsewhere. 
 

I am a huge fan of Beard but I’m slightly more excited about Miller and his offense prowess than Beard and his defense. But I could understand anyone who thinks the opposite.
